Heavy through the darkness,
Steady down the rail
The conductor surveys her periphery for movement beyond the track
Silhouettes of distant tree-lines loom with eternal depth
Break-neck speeds bend the edges of pine in cedar
Into wispy streams of horizon
And down the narrow path between thick unknowns,
She reflects
Her deep ruminations unlock the gates to contact beyond the firmament
Through it’s solace, she connects with her mirrored spirit
Shining her ethereal image with affinity and grace
No cluster of light can spoil the vast tranquility of her shadowed paradise

The low-roar of the engine fuels her motoric mind
